Hello Everybody on that side of the world.
Hope everyone’s week was just great. Well mine was a lot
happened this week. We had mission tour
this week. With Elder Hamilton of the seventy. He came and talked to us about
lots of things. He gave us some advice so that was nice. And then we had lunch and took tons of
pictures and then went back to our areas and then home. This week was so great
for me and my companion! We have 13 new investigators and good key indicators
for the week. And then we went on exchanges and I went to a place called Rhodes
park and I walked to Kingdom come and back again! Had some pretty funny moments
when we went contacting I tell you people are hilarious when you try and talk
to them about Jesus. My companion was sick so I stayed in all of Tuesday and
watch the district for all of you returned missionaries you know what that is
and it can make you feel guilty in a second ha-ha. But its super helpful. I
have decided to reread the book of Mormon and I am in going into second Nephi
so that is going good. And I totally lost my scriptures but they are found now
so Amen! Can’t do without those! And all
of you would be so proud of me! I finally HAND WASHED my blanket! And I lost
our phone so I had to buy a new one……so yeah that was fun! Oh and I cut my companions hair off so that
was different only the second haircut I have given on mission and it was done
well I am proud of myself. But besides that everything that week was normal!
Well a missionary’s life is never really normal but it was good. So I guess I will
just share my spiritual moment of the week. This week we had many great lessons
but there was one that I just felt the spirit so strong. Saturday we taught a
investigator and they talked to us about how they think that us talking to them
was a sign because they really needed the pamphlet we gave them which was the
gospel of Jesus Christ. And they really
needed to learn about repentance. They opened up about how they were breaking
one of the biggest commandments and how they just wanted to learn about how
they can get help. And so we taught them about the atonement and how we can
apply it to our lives. And I wasn’t so much worried about what I was going to
say because I knew that the spirit would tell what they needed to hear and I just
wanted them to know how much the Savior loves them and how is wants to forgive
them if they would just come unto him. And I have taught many times about
repentance but this time is was just the love that I had all of sudden grown
for this person and how much the savior want them to know that his servant is
there to help them. And my testimony of the atonement grew in such a short
amount of time. And my testimony is that the Savior loves us and that he wants
to forgive us and to be clean so that we can return the place that he has
prepared for us. And the atonement is there for anyone and everyone. He did not
die so that we could not make use of it but he died so that we can embrace it
and magnify it. I know the savior loves us and that he wants us to forgive
ourselves and others as he would. No sin is too big for his mercy. I love you
all Amen.
