Trunky and Teaching and loving it.

Hello my friends and family. I hope all is well that side, i know i
haven't written in awhile and for that i am sorry. These things of
Pdays they are hectic and too short! ha-ha. Well i will give you all a
brief catch up. Gloria is doing great she is a wonderful member
missionary thank you for all the kind words you all sent her! So my
companion was sick for a bit and its crazy to see how much your area
can change in just a short amount of time of being gone. So we are
increasing our teaching pool. Nothing too new besides that just a
regualr ol'Missionary things. My companion is all better now and she
is actually on her way home! Her time is finished as a full time
missionary! and it was a week full of goodbyes and packing! This week
i was unbelievably trunky haha! but i am better now because I AM A
MISSIONARY AND I LOVE IT! My year mark is coming up in about three
months! Wow where did the time go! Well watching my companion and my
other flat mate go home was really hard! But i am so excited for them!
I think going home is so exciting! its incredibly bittersweet i would
imagine! well i still have awhile so i won't think about it too much!
Well one thing i learned from my companion that i feel is so
important! was too try and make those around you happy! Find ways to
serve them! And we will find that we make ourselves happy as well! A
win win! I love that women and i will miss so dearly!
So my week was good! We did Mormon helping hands! which is a service
project that is done every august! And the branches do it! This august
we were at an orphanage! we cleaned it up and make a water path! So
that was so fun! i tried to fetch water and that was a major failed
attempt! ha-ha but i will succeed next time! Besides that we just
taught some people as usual! and oh on Sunday i gave a talk on the
atonement! So that was nice! while studying for it i realized that
everything we teach as missionaries surrounds thee atonement of jesus
christ! and i would say the biggest thing i learned was that we need
to make use of the atonement so we do not have to atone for our own
sins. And that Jesus Christ truly does love us enough to die for us.
And still he will plede our case when it comes time for judgement. He
will never leave us. One of my favorite hymns is "how firm a
foundation."
and these our my favorite lines.


“Fear not, I am with thee, oh, be not dismayed,
For I am thy God, and will still give thee aid;
I’ll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand."

I love this part because Our Savior is saying that he will not leave us.
Will come to our aid when we need him! He will strengthen us when we are weak.
He is the Christ he will always be there when we need him. He was not
forced to be the savior of the world. But he loves us so much that he
would die for the world and still continue to help us. All we have to
do is use him.

“The soul that on Jesus doth lean for repose,
I will not, I will not, desert to his foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I’ll never, no never, no never forsake.”

I love this part so much! because i lean on the savior when i am tired
and weary!
And just like in the part before he promises to strengthen me. I will
not ever desert Jesus Christ. I will not ever play for the opposing
team. I will not forsake him because he promises to never forsake me.
Satan will lead us into temptation and desert us but the Savior will
lead us to righteousness and heaven and stand by our side.


I Love the Savior Jesus Christ, I am eternally grateful for his
atonement. I know that he lives and will be each and everyone of our
advocates to the father. I know his atonement is real and that he died
for us and if he needed to he would do it again because that is how
much he loves us. Let us not Forsake him and desert to his Foes.
Because he will not forsake us. I pray that each and everyone of you
will always make use of the saviors atonement through repentance. And
know that he loves you. In the name of Jesus Christ i pray. Amen.
