I AM A MISSIONARY AND I LOVE IT!

Hello Everyone
Hope this entry finds you all well! So this week was nice! i got my new companion her name is sister Mntungwa. She was actually in the same MTC group as me! so that was exciting! I love her she is a fireball! Full of energy so we make a great duo! Satan better watch out! This week we had a pretty slow week just letting her adjust to the mountains of Blantyre! she reminds me of how i was when i first got transferred here! the hills can slow you down! but my companion Sister Clifford was really patient with me so i am doing the same! Well we had such a good time at our Zone Conference! we learned so much! and our zone is so powerful its unbelievable! We talked a lot about being good missionaries and the power that we have with out callings! it amazing what we have been promised as representatives of Jesus Christ! we are so lucky! and i am so grateful! Well my nine months is coming up and i can't believe it where does the time go! I love mission! I AM A MISSIONARY AND I LOVE IT! This week we had such a powerful lesson with a man named Mavuto! he has a family! and we taught him an overview of the restoration! and he had lots of questions! He wanted to know how our church was different from others. Well ladies and Gentlemen because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Christ church restored again on earth. Our prophet is directed and lead by our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We testified of that and asked him to pray and he said he would so we asked if he could do that right now and he was a little hesitent at fist but then we explained that it didn't have to be a long prayer or one of many words. Just a small simple prayer asking heavenly father if the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints was his sons true church? and was Joseph Smith his prophet? and so he said yes and he offered a Simple and powerful petition to the lord. And when he was done he sat there with his eye closed and we sat there in silence on our knees around his living room table and on his Que we rose from the ground and asked him how he felt. He replied "I need to come to your church this Sunday." "I feel good and i feel like its true." And i almost popped out of my seat to hug him! Now we have been teaching him for awhile and I didn't want to go and see him this time but my companion felt like we should. And i am grateful that we did. And during that prayer that we had with him i offered a prayer in heart and asked Our father in heaven o soften his heart and let him feel the truthfulness of our message this time, and our heavenly father was mindful of my prayer and answered it and for that i am grateful. I am also so thankful for the training that we had that was able to help us with that lesson. I know that this is CHRIST church once again on earth. And that Joseph smith restored this church and that he was a true prophet of God. I have seen it and felt it. I love my calling and Being a member of this church! How Great is Our God! Till Next Time! XOXO Sister Tia Griffus

ps: oh we had an investigator come to church!
