I Believe In Christ.

Hello all yall! Hope this finds you better than ever! Hope everyone's week rocked! We had a really slow week my companion and i were both pretty sick, so we spent most of time on the inside of the house. All is well now looking forward to a great week we have a lot of goals set and we are stoked to get them done. We also have mission tour coming up on Saturday and we will have a general authority join us. President Carol B.Cook. We are all looking forward to that, Lilongwe gets to come down, super pumped to see them.

I will do a follow up of my last email. Everyone is doing great. Malawians are powerful they have great faith in our father in heaven. An unwavering trust in him. Its like nothing happened to them. They have moved on. I love this country. And no i do not wash my clothes in the river that was a service for a member who lost her home. In fact when you see my photos you will see myself and a beautiful young lady whose name is memory and she does my laundry! she is a champ! Love her! she is preparing to go on mission!

This week i just have a small thought.
                       Exodus 14
26 ¶And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
                             Alma 14
26 And Alma cried, saying: How long shall we suffer these great afflictionsLord? Lord, give us strength according to our faith which is in Christ, even unto deliveranceAnd they broke the cords with which they were bound; and when the people saw this, they began to flee, for the fear of destruction had come upon them.
27 And it came to pass that so great was their fear that they fell to the earth, and did not obtain the outer door of the prisonand the earth shook mightily, and the walls of the prison were rent in twain, so that they fell to the earth; and the chief judge, and the lawyers, and priests, and teachers, who smote upon Alma and Amulek, were slain by the fall thereof.
                                        Helaman 16
But as many as there were who did not believe in the words of Samuel were angry with him; and they cast stones at him upon the wall, and also many shot arrows at him as he stood upon the wall;but the Spirit of the Lord was with him, insomuch that they could not hit him with their stones neither with their arrows.
Now when they saw that they could not hit him, there weremany more who did believe on his words, insomuch that they went away unto Nephi to be baptized.
                                     Joseph Smith
"I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.And when the light rested upon me i saw two personages, Whose brightness and glory defy all description standing above me in the air — one of whom sake unto me calling me by name  pointing to the other, said, "This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

I imagine all of you are wondering why i am quoting all of these scriptures. Think about what some of the impressions were that came to you. As i shared with you some of the greatest miracles that happened through out history. This week i have been really thinking about miracles. And how we obtain them. And all of these wonderful people received these miracles by obedience and faith. All of the miracles that happen are acts of love from our father in heaven. It may be parting the red sea, standing on a wall where arrows cannot harm you as you share your testimony. Or faith could lead you into a grove of trees where our father in heaven will leave his throne from his children. Or it could be regaining a testimony that was lost. Or a healing from a priesthood blessing. Whether small and simple or grand and noted. They are sacred and special. Miracles are a daily part of life, we may not notice them but they are. They come to mothers who sleep late and arise early for their little ones. Them keeping their sanity is nothing short of miraculous. Or a hard working father who gets up before everyone in his family to go to plow snow or to the office. And return safely to his family everyday. Or the for a missionary who is thousands of miles or even hundreds to get up every morning and kneel before the Lord and pray for faith and to soften the hearts of men. And then to go out and see the fruits of their prayers. Or for a returned missionary to go on after leaving behind such a big part of their lives and move on. or simply the miracle of life. Heavenly loves his children. He time and time again shows us. We just have to see them. Our faith determines our outcomes, and obedience provides for them. I have seen many miracles in my life and i was not there to witness Moses, And Samuel the laminite. Or watch the walls of a prison crumble because of a humble prayer said by faithful servants of the Lord. But i know miracles happen i know that we can have confidence to ask for those miracles as we are obedient and faithful. The Lord promises Nephi that he will do anything he asks of him because of his faithfulness as long as it not contrary to him. In the book of helaman. The Lord wants to bless us. We just have to look for those blessings and be worthy to receive them. Truly i know we have a loving heavenly father. I know he provides always. I know that if you work for miracles and seek for them that he "prove himself" and we are obedient to his commandments. I would urge all of you too look for the miracles in your life. They could be the little hands that hug you before you retire to bed. Or a sweet text from a friend. little or big they matter. I know this all to be true in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
